There are several fundamental elements of the ChronoAsian Method that make it effective not just for achieving and maintaining your ideal weight but also to optimize your health and help prevent deadly diseases such as cardiovascular disease, breast cancer, prostate cancer, as well as diabetes and osteoporosis.  Many recent studies that I refer to in my book (which is in the process of being translated into English) indicate that this is so.   We will let you know when the English version of my book is available, but in the meantime here is a  brief outline of these fundamental aspects present in my method that not only help with weigh loss and maintenance but that are linked to preventing the above mentioned diseases.

  • Optimization of one’s omega 3 index through the consumption of oily fish  and cold pressed oils  helps  diabetes, CAD  and prostrate cancer prevention.
  • Consumption of large amounts of anti-oxidants through a varied and abundant vegetable intake helps eliminate free radicals that destroy cell membranes and render the body susceptible to CAD.  Anti –oxidants also seem to play an important preventative role in the development of prostrate cancer and osteoporosis.
  • Replacement of many dairy products with soya.  Isoflavones present in soya helps prevent breast cancer, as well as prostrate cancer.
  • Enhances the intestinal microbiota. A healthy intestinal microbiota is essential for correct liver functioning, healthy weight maintenance and prevention of colon cancer, CAD and diabetes amongst others. Many of the recipes include foods rich in prebiotics (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, onions, garlic).  Prebiotics work together with probiotics in maintaining a healthy microbiota in the intestines. Coconut milk, a prominent ingredient in the ChronoAsian recipes, is also an effective killer of bad bacteria in this zone.
